Garnier SkinActive

This sheet mask contains 1% Hyaluronic Acid and Watermelon Extract to replenish hydration to the skin. Garnier says that it will hydrate and smoothen your skin and firm it up.

I picked this up at my local Coles store when it was on special. The mask was AUD 1.50 and so I bought 2! The sheet mask has 1% hyaluronic acid and watermelon extract. It seems like this mask is only available in Australia. The rest of the world has the Hyalu-Melon Serum Cream, which is a serum with sunscreen.

The serum works within 3 days, while the mask works instantly to deliver results.

Mask

The Garnier SkinActive still uses a thin sheet mask, and it looks soaked. I feel that the mask it not thick enough to hold a lot of the serum. From the package, you only need to leave it on for 5 minutes. Of course I left it for far longer, because I like to maximise contact time. Apparently, that is not a good idea because the sheet mask will start to reabsorb the serum back as it evaporates.

If that is true, please let me know. I left it on for 10 minutes; I took it off when the sheet felt dry.

Does it work?

Garnier SkinActive Sheetmask Watermelon/Hyaluronic Acid works well with one application. My skin feels good after. I notice that my skin feels more hydrated. The bounce test was pretty good, so I guess the watermelon extract helps.

However, the effect does not last very long. I like to do my sheet masks at night, and I notice that the hydration wears out by morning. So if you are thinking about using this to look your best on a date, 5 minutes extra is all you need!

Plus, at that price, it is a good mask for you to try, right?
