Lancome Renergie Multi-Lift Reviews

I couldn’t help myself at work, because these were at 40% off, and it also came with two mini samples of eye serum and Genifique. First of all, the top on is the Lancome Renergie Multi-Lift Lifting Firming Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream (or get from Amazon). The jar is a sample, it’s a cute tiny little thing.

The bottom one is Lancome Renergie Multi-Lift Redefining Lifting Cream SPF15 (or buy from Amazon). At 40% off, I remember paying around AUD 85 for the set. One good thing about it, is that they are both from the same Renergie family, so it’s easier to compare.

Lancome’s Renergie is an anti-ageing range, with their Multi-Tension technology for firming action. More like a wrinkle- plumping and lifting facial cream. I know that there are store brands that does quite a good job, such as my favourite Dr. Lewinn’s Eternal Youth and Charmzone Midnight Cream.

My camera is crappy, you won’t see it clearly. The main difference is that the night cream has a more pinkish tone than the day one. There is a red dye in the ingredients for both products, but the day cream has a lighter pink hue, mainly because of the SPF 15. Aside from that, the night cream is deliciously richer in texture. The day cream isn’t too bad either, it is smooth and silky, but a lot lighter on the skin.

Little Gift

This is a sample for Lancome Advanced Genifique Yeux Light-pearl Eye-illuminating Youth Activating Concentrate (tis a mouthful I know). A full 20mL bottle costs like $106 here at Strawberrynet. The metal massage applicator is really nice and comfortable to apply the eye serum with, and you can wash it later on. Lancome also put their Génifique Yeux Light PearlTM, which is something to revitalise the genes to make more youth protein (whatever that means).

I am enjoying this few times a week at the moment, I don’t want it to end so quickly on me. The formula is ultra light, lighter than eye gel. I might baulk at the price, because the 20ml is price of the eye cream!

Does it really work?

Not sure. While my eyes are lucky enough to escape some wrinkles, the most annoying thing about my face is the laugh lines. I tried a lot of things, like massage wands and face yoga. None of them work 100% but those annoying laugh lines aren’t as bad as they were ages ago.

So I do think there’s a difference? Kim Kardashian and Victoria Beckham have good reason not to smile so much.
