L’Oreal Hydrafresh Anti-Ox Grape Seed Hydrating Mask-In Double Essence
The bottle contains a red- coloured serum and a moisturiser. First things first, that serum has colouring in it. The L’Oreal hydrafresh has grape seed and red fruit complex, mainly pomegranate and red berry (not sure which ones). The bottle has two halves, like the Clarin’s Double serum.
When you press the pump, you will get this blob that somehow comes out combined. Pink and white, the white is the moisturiser, and in the ingredient’s list, it has salicylic acid. You can’t really put it in the serum, so I am assuming that salicylic acid would be in the white part.
The bottle claims to improve the skin’s protective barrier, while keeping it hydrating and and fresh. At AUD$ 35, I can’t help but to compare with Clarin’s AUD $90 double serum. While the L’Oreal Hydrafresh keeps my skin in good condition, it is the Clarin’s that improved it to a better state.
Aside from that, the hydrafresh is made in China, which is another negative mark against it. I am not a fan of China made beauty products, because I am not really sure if they test against animals, but let’s assume so.
While the L’Oreal Hydrafresh is a decent enough product if Clarins is out of your price point. The bottle lasts around two months, with morning and night applications. For a store brand, it is not a bad product.
Update on Life
Recently it was my friend’s birthday, and we went to celebrate at this dessert cafe called 50sixone. The name of the shake is It’s Yo Birthday, which is why we ordered it. The green top is a normal sponge cake with a layer of marzipan I think. The sugar curls as decoration, and I have forgotten what’s in the shake. All I tasted was sugar and more sugar.
Well, we were also celebrating the her last birthday as a free lady, because next year we would be doing it with kids XD. It was totally worth the sugar high later
