I don’t celebrate Easter by the way but thought I’d share this review/ snippet of Easter bunny muffins or cupcakes. I am hoping that some of you are, because these white fluffy cakes are so cute. Plus it is in 4 simple steps, you can enlist your kids to help (if you have any). The only problem is the toppings are made out of candies.

Which, if you have kids, is a recipe for certain disaster. Prince and Princess Brat will eat them by the dozens if I let them. So while these are cute, probably a once off thing.

Cupcake For Parties?

Aside from cute bunnies, Make It Easy, Cupcake also has recipes for themed parties. Christmas and the soccer cupcake to name a few. All requires some skill to make, though with a few practices it is quite easy to recreate what is on the book. Not that I am doing it, because I’m too lazy, and cupcakes are not a hit in my household. My kids some how prefers funny faces, which are dead expensive to buy.

I requested this book from Netgalley mainly because I was curious. The sample pages that I got has a lot of good ideas. This book is great for busy moms and dads, something the whole family can do for a shared plate event. You can boasts to your friends that your whole family made this, well… hopefully you can. While this book says Simple STEPS, the steps do require some skill with the piping bag. So this is slightly above “noob” but below amateur level.

Verdict

Make It Easy, Cupcake!: Fabulously Fun Creations in 4 Simple Steps can make you look like you have great skill and a lot of time, when you actually don't. Share on X

First you still need to make that cupcake! Then you need the extra ingredients.

While it is easy enough in instructions, I think/ believe that reality that this looks not all that simple will hit if you do not know what you are doing. But if you are pretty good with your decorating skills, this book may add into your quick and easy ideas to presenting pretty food at a party.
