Nivea Cellular Anti-Age Skin Rejuvenation Eye Cream
Shop Ebay
I have been missing in action because I moved house recently, my husband somehow won the auction, so we had to move. Not to say that I am over the moon, the suburb is mainly for my kids to go into a good public high school. It will be a different routine for a while, because we have set up routine at the old house (meaning school’s nearer to the old house). I cannot complain, with the current “unprecedented” situation, moving houses is a blessing… No I wasn’t evicted.
Back to Nivea Cellular Eye Cream
I cannot find this one in Amazon, and it’s actually not on the official Nivea website, maybe it has been discontinued. Actually that may be the reason why it’s half price
clearance. The cream is made in Poland. Main ingredients include hyaluronic acid, magnolia extract and creatine, with some water being the main ingredient. The cream is light weight, absorbs quickly without any residue.
With a name like Skin rejuvenation, Nivea boasts that it can smooth fine lines, and reduces wrinkles. Unlike Neutrogena Rapid Repair Eye Cream, it does not say immediately or with “noticeable difference” like Skin Doctor’s Instant Eyelift. But the price is considerably lower than the 2 brands. I am not expecting a miracle, and I am not seeing one either.
I am using it twice a day on my eyes and forehead, actually that’s where my lines are at the moment. So I can safely say that I don’t see any noticable improvements to my forehead and eyes. It feels like a normal everyday eye cream that I use to keep my skin hydrated. Nothing impressive here.
Verdict
Yes, I bought it for the skin rejuvenation and skin firming claims, even though I know that with that price nothing will really happen. But Nivea Cellular day cream was good for a store brand which was why I tried it. While it is not amazing and life changing, it is still a decent moisturiser for the eyes, plus I did not get any breakouts or reactions, so I will finish the tube and move on =D
I might try their Q10 plus C eye cream next time, or may be move on to more expensive eye creams that work, like the Freeze24/7 . Overall, I am not that impressed by this, but hey sometimes you get what you pay for right?
