Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum

What it has:  concentrated amino-peptide and B3 complex.
What you need it for: to get deep hydration around the eyes, and left the crow’s feet for a brighter look around the eyes.
How to use: Cleanse as usual, dot the Olay Regenerist eye lifting serum under the eyes as well as the corner of the lids, and pat/ smooth until absorbed. Try using ring fingers as they are generally weaker than the rest if the fingers. Avoid pulling the skin around there.

What I do not like about Olay Regenerist, or the one that I have here in the picture, is that this is made in China.

I am not 100% sure if this was tested on animals or not, because I know they do on make up products. If you are big on cruelty free, Olay may not be the best brand for you to go to. This one I got somewhere, can’t remember if it was online or in the shop. But I was disappointed to see that this is made in China. I am usually careful, opting Australian made, or at least one with that cruelty free logo.

So far, I am still using the cream. The cream smooths on quite well, and absorbs quickly without tugging or constant rubbing. As you know, the skin around the eyes are thinner and more prone to wrinkles. Hence the parting motion is the most popular method to avoid damaging the structure there.

Verdict

I do feel that the area feels more hydrated after application. The effect seems to last the morning, though I think it is acceptable for a store bought brand.

Even though it is nothing special, Olay Regenerist still has some good reputation in terms of efficacy. If you are not fussed about animal testing, although I think we all should, this might be an okay product to have.

  1. I’ve never tried this, but sadly, I probably need it. LOL
I do use other Olay products that I like. I don’t think the soap is made in China, but I’ll check.

    1. i need it too! It works pretty okay for the price tag =D but some people do place cruelty free as an important reason not to purchase
