Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Hyaluronic Moisture Kick Spray Conditioner 200ml

I was desperate to tame Princess Brat’s wild hair that I turned to a hair shop for some help. I paid full regular retail price for this (and I don’t remember how much!)

The kind lady recommended this Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Hyaluronic Moisture Kick Spray to us because it is what she uses for her own children. This is has a spray nozzle that makes a mist. The formula is a dual-phase solution, so you have to shake it really well to create an emulsion before spraying.

The claims:

  1. Binds Moisture
  2. Detangles
  3. Smoothens
  4. Adds Shine

Before photo

I have many crazy hair pictures, but I will settle for this because it is before the spray

It feels like it looks: a messy little cloud of hair that is fuzzy. The hair is soft when you touch it, but it does tangle. So here is a lousy before photo with evidence that I do not intentionally make it so. This photo last year shows that her hair’s always been this way.

After Schwarzkopf BC spray

The first thing you may notice is the waviness, that may be because of the gel. It looks a little wet and shiny, but this photo was around a few minutes after. The lady also gave me some samples, which I do not find suitable. You also see that her hair’s actually “longer” now, because it has settled down instead of flying up everywhere. So does it do what it claims?

I find it lives up to its claims. The change is noticeable and instant, hence I feel like the lady has helped me lots. Her hair after a shower looks like in the photo: wavy long. Although I am not sure if the spray provides moisture lock so that gravity can do its job, or the chemicals actually do the job, frankly I am not fussed. It is not a lot of spray, usually just a puff of mist, at most 2.

Why am I finding it so hard?

It is because she is the first child with such a unique hair type! She has fine hair from me, but her dad’s curly/ wavy genes! So the resulting hair is this fine cloud of untamable locks, and she always looks like she just rolled out of bed no matter what I do! She is also partial to letting her hair down, unless it’s Elsa’s hair style. This bottle of hair spray is my present to her for her birthday.

Before you berate me, she also wanted this:

Wet Detangler Brush in blue unicorn pattern (the ones here are white). Yes, they are $10 but it is a good hair brush for her hands. In the end, she picked one, and was happy with the spray. The spray even impressed dad, he’s using it every morning on her hair. It just makes her look more well presented, and not screaming of “mom and dad doesn’t look after me!” vibes.

You know what I mean, right?
